Frank Reece

I dedicate this part of the site to my friend and former partner Frank Reece, I consider Frank my mentor, for he is the one who taught me all about spinning rollers. Frank and I spent many hours together talking rollers, building new lofts and general BS.

I first met Frank in 1984 to discuss purchasing four pair of breeders, a funny thing was that Frank lived four houses down from my grandmother and all those years I never knew he had rollers! Another funny note is that Frank was good friends with Don Simpson another great roller breeder. Don is a well known resturant owner in Anderson, S.C. and as a kid I visited his establishment several hundred times. You see my step-mother was his best waitress for many years and I never knew about the rollers until 1984!??

My first meeting with Frank was quite an event for me, he sold me two pair of his best breeders and then loaned me two more pair! Over the years I never tired of hearing Frank talk rollers, he fasinates me with his memory and ability to recognize birds.
