22 years of flying Tipplers

As I was sitting here waiting to water the Birds before I released them, I was thinking Back on the years that I have been flying.. And thought I would write a little about myself for the Northern California Tippler Club. From the First Non-Rolling Roller I got in 1979 or 1980, to the Kit I'm flying today.. About the only thing that hasn't changed is wanting to see the birds fly hours after hours. I remember getting so upset at the Rollers I started out with for not flying for at least an hour. It was 80 or 81, My Brother seen the book The Pigeon by Levi and and in it was a part about Tipplers that was flying 17 plus hours, I just knew I had to get some and within a few Months I had "Tipplers". Now they flew better than the Rollers I was first given, but most days 4 hours was max. now I did get to watch them fly out of sight many times that First Year I had them, but the best time I got out of them was like 6 hours.
